Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16G Question

I'm currently using BA 16 in the mains with Gamma synthetic gut 16 in the crosses. Before that I was using PSGD 16 in the crosses which was getting very frayed by the BA. My thinking was that the rough texture of the PSGD was not mixing well with the BA. The Gamma which is much smoother is still in decent shape by the time the BA snaps. Obviously the Gosen is much cheaper than Gamma or PSGD. With all that said my questions are:

Is the Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16G a smooth textured string?

What is the durability of the string as a cross with a poly?

Has anyone used it as a cross with BA? If so, what was your experience?

I would consider as a pretty smooth string, basic syn gut.

I used the JC16 (pretty much the same) as cross on poly (Prince Tour). It outlasted Prince Tour cause it died. I only used twice...

it's pretty smooth.

how long it lasts depends on how hard you hit and how much spin.

only did it as a full job, i'm not a string breaker so exclude me. i strung it for two of my teammates as full jobs, one broke his around 15-20hr mark, the other one was a harder hitter and broke his around 3-5 hr mark.

I have used it as a cross with Poly mains and it was as good as any other Syn Gut. You can't beat the price either.

Thanks everyone so far. The price can't be beat so if it lasts about as long as the other synthetic guts, I'm willing to go for it.

It has lasted me as long as the Gamma Syn Gut w/ WG has in my hybrid combos with Cyber Flash. It also feels pretty much the same too.

Gosen as a cross with a poly is very popular in my neck of the woods with the teaching pros.

Glad to hear that the feeling is the same. My experience with the Gamma Synthetic Gut w/ WG is that it lasted me about half as long as regular Gamma in a full synthetic setup. WG is also a rougher string, so I won't be testing that combo out. Thanks for the info though since CF is often compared to BA.
