Grip build-up question

I've purchased the heat shrink sleeves to build up the grip (one size) for two of my racquets.

Should I also replace the butt caps (from 4-1/4 to 4-3/8)? Or, let it ride. I don't use a flared butt cap.

What's the Hive's opinion?

in general you should be able to squeeze it in and save a few buck.

The heat shrink can go on top of the butt cap. Then take an Xacto knife and cut it off where you want.

That is what I have done. Works great.

Update:

Worked like a charm! Put the heat shrink sleeve over the pallet and buttcap. Apply heat, trim and re-grip!
