Grip Size question

I use a 4 3/8 on my racquet. I want to buy a TW Leather grip(1.3mm) and some Babolat VS Original overgrips. If I use these two, will the grip size go down a little bit? And what is the difference between the 22mm and 25mm?

The 22mm and 25mm corresponds to the width of the leather whereas the 1.3mm corresponds to the thickness of the leather.

If you were just using a 3/8 with no overgrip then there will be no decrease in grip size if you use leather with an overgrip. However, there will be a change in balance seeing as a leather grip weighs more therefore creating a more headlight balance.

Btw I've heard good things about tw leather! And tw please correct me if I was mistaken about anything.

Thanks! I've read about alot if people on this board using the 1.3 TW Leather as a way to decrease grip size because of how thin it is. In terms of feel, whats the difference between 22mm and 25mm?

honestly I'm not sure as I've not tried the 1.3 tw leather but its all about how you want the feel of the racquet to be, the grooves of the grip that spiral up the handle would be closer together, and you would feel the difference in your hand, but I seriously doubt it would make a noticeable difference unless your very meticulous about your racquets.

Im sure you already have, but if you haven't, read the customer feedback on the tw leather grips. Some good reviews in there.

i think it's 4 3/8 in. in circumference with the factory grip. i measured all my bare grip and they are no where near it' size. with just the factory grip however it almost right on its indicated grip size.

i also heard every brand is different.

TW leather is indeed great. Since original Fairway grips are almost impossible to find, good replacement for my sticks!

The 1.3 is thin though so does it reduce grip size?
