I've seen rumors in the comments of Head's Instagram posts. What I understand it will be coming in the next couple of months. You guys have any info about that?

Right. Extreme and Instinct are the next to come out. Later this year.

Wonder how they will change the color way on the extreme.? Don't think switching the black and yellow would look that good..
I wish they would change to green..
Could be extreme like fluorescent green..or classic green like Yonex but caps..

Will look great. Be assured. But yellow is definitely part of it, it's the silo color. If you look closely at Musetti's current racquet (grommet color) you have a hint how the color in the top part will look like.

Seen some pictures of this on a well known String Forum site. I won't steal the pics, but the colours do look nice.

Will be interesting to demo against my current 360 MP.

I just joined as x_instead...that is sharp....perhaps a gray grip would have been better..
Hope it plays as nice as it looks... Great job Head..

Musetti will be endorsing part of Extreme line?

It's to keep the hacks out..but a very good site for knowledge.. and without the bs..

I am not sending ID to get access to a rather inactive tennis forum that usually has data cross posted here
And... their posting has been lacking since the late mid-2010s

Interesting. I'm so happy with the current Extreme that I am skeptical of any change. I hate the new PJ even more. It's like they merged the Extreme and Instinct paints. Yuck. Why do they paint such a good racquet so terribly? Please for the love of all that is good just give us a nice glossy black frame or something similar.

No bad or good.

I am just having doubts if it is necessary especially I virtually never see anyone playing the Instinct 360. The Radical line is also not selling good despite its success a while ago.

I thought that the Instinct line was dead with the headline endorsers both going retired.

Just really surprised to know that it still has update.

But the Gravity Pro is my go to stick and seems the Speed 360+ is having good feedback.

If I were working for Head, I would invest more on those lines which can sell

This is the situation right now. It can change in 2021/22.
Don't be wrong with Radical. Next to Speed it is still the best selling HEAD silo/line so far. Of course Gravity is catching up in recent months.

it depends.
Instinct is essentially a Pure Aero with lower RA.
So it might be seen as a product that is kept till better times, to keep track of Babolat.

Perhaps next year a promising junior will endorse it, and they will be able to take massive market share from Babolat once that junior will rock the tour?
nobody can prevent Head from dreaming, especially if they can afford it.

You mean 2021/22?
But is Head still designing new lines?
Head seems to be the only major player which likes to push for new lines.
Say the MXG and Gravity.

In such case it seems the selling ranking is as follows:
1. Speed
2. Radical
3. Gravity
4. Prestige/Extreme (tie)
5. Instinct

The Aero and Instinct 360 are not really similar at all.
The Aero has an extremely wide open string pattern where the instinct is quite dense, both 16x19.
The Aero has a much rounder head where the instinct is narrower, both 100sq.
The Aero has a considerably thicker beam
The Aero has a considerable higher swingweight.
The Aero is harder to swing
They simply are not really interchangeable
The Aero is more similar to the Extreme MP 360 if comparing to a Head Racquet.
Not really sure if any Babolats compare to the Instinct.
The Instinct is really the orpan child of Head. Doesn't really seem to fit in anywhere. Some days I like it but then go back to a Speed MP and wonder why it even exists.

Before Pure Aero, previous iterations didn't have that much open pattern

The Aero has a considerably thicker beam

TTW has following specs listed:
Pure Aero = 23mm / 26mm /23mm
Instinct MP = 23mm / 26mm /23mm

The Aero has a considerable higher swingweight.

Pure Aero = 324
Instinct MP = 320

I see the frame mm specs same ok.
But swinging both the 2018 Aero and the Instinct 360 are simply not comparable. Swingweight specs can only tell part of the story, but physically swinging out on the crt tells a very different story. The effort to swing the Aero is much greater and suited to a more advanced player. The instinct could be used by just about anyone but problem for me is the balance and just carnt seem to hit a heavy ball or serve hard with it. Go to the Aero or Speed and level just rises. But the Instinct can certainly suit a lot of player though with its ease of use.

I played with Aero Pro Drive and then with Pure Aero, since 2012.
Last Autumn I got to hit for a few minutes with Instinct.

If I didn't know that I was hitting with Instinct, I would easily say that it was a Babolat Aero series racket.

I can see that, but Instinct is still a pure power racquet, the extreme is power and spin like pure aero

that's not the point of what I was saying either way.

point is, Instinct and Extreme might be Head's way to keep a foot in Babolat's door, till they sort out a marketing mix that will grab a big enough market share.
if they can afford this financially, why not?
