Head youtek prestige MP black or clear grommet?

Hi. A friend of mine has a youtek prestige MP with black grommets. He would want a second one, but I can't understand if the clear and black grommet racquet are the same or 2 different models.
It seems that one is the IG youtek prestige MP and the other a youtek prestige mp, or microgel?
Lol, I don't know... Which one is one?

MicroGel grommets for the Prestige MP are definitely black. The later editions switched to clear or whitish grommets and those were pretty bad since they tended to break/chip off. MP prestige grommets are swapable, so he can always replace the grommet strip [if he can find the MG.]

What I mean is that he has a red prestige mp with black grommets. This one.

If I want to buy another one, what do I have to search for? Youtek prestige mp? (Not the ig nor the microgel, right? No clear grommet)

Yes, this is the youtek prestige mp that came before the IG version that has clear grommets.

All prestige mp grommets before craphene are interchangeable I have the a few sets of the yt ig grommets for my regular you're prestige mps ( same ones you have) just because I can't find the black ones.

I think you might be able to get them on there, but the beam got wider and so did the grommets.

That’s not true! Graphene Prestige MP is the exact same mold as the IG Prestige MP and the the black grommets from the Graphene XT And Graphene Touch Prestige MP will fit any Prestige MP. The part number for the IG MP and Graphene/XT/Touch is the same TK293

Ok thanks. I got three 25th Ann. (probably the last great Prestige made by HEAD), grommets are still fine just wanted to know for ahead of time.

Head has these adaptive kits with different colored grommets that fit at 9 and 3 o’clock on the hoop and will either add weight or change the patter, or both, when changed. Can be done when restringing.

Could the same become a business in the future to supply grommets of different weight to any racket?
