Well done to her, disagree massively that she's better than Robson though, Robson has the game to win a slam (not saying she will, but there is at least a chance), Watson never will, she'll always come across somebody that will just bully her off the court.
We're just going to have to wait and see who becomes the better player. It did look as if Laura could go higher, but until we see if she can come back from a long injury break, we're just guessing.
It's a shame that Heather and Laura have taken it in turns to have serious set-backs, as I think a bit of rivalry helped to push them both to get better.
I think it's a bit unhelpful that some people seem that they need to pick a side. It's one thing to consider the pros and cons of each of their game styles etc, but it seems as if some think that only one can be praised at any given time, and resent the other one being given credit.
Laura was always going to get a bit more attention as she won Junior Wimbledon, so was known to the wider press, and a couple of great runs in slams gets attention, but Heather's second main tour trophy should balance that up now.
I always struggle to find the relevant stats for WTA, but I believe Heather has a lot of opportunities to make up points in the next few months, so it's a great time for her.
I believe it's similar for James Ward, so he's got an excellent shot at going top 100 by Spring, and how refreshing to have three men in the main draw, all there on merit.
