He has a very unstable but powerful backhand, due to his very strong arm pronation and good timing, however precisely because of how he rely so much on his arm pronation that it backfired resulting in his backhand becoming very unstable. Meaning that he can't really hit a good flat if he wants to or change direction on the fly.
I would suggest him to change his backhand swing. But as for what it is probably better to do it in person.
Hit more angle on backhand. Then look for fh. Basically what the opponent does to your player.

Oh, sorry dhbh, wasn't thinking thereYou prob noticed his backhand follow through is similar to Andy Murray however his racquet face opens up too much on take back.
There has to be pronation of his backhand non-dominant arm.
