Calling home based stringer in Hong Kong :) Hello everyone, I've been stringing for almost a year and I'm considering to buy a new manual machine to replace my pretty old second hand Eagnas manual, and then add a 2086 Wise Tension head to it.

May I ask, do you know where can I order new manual stringing machine in Hong Kong? And do you have experience with the 2086 Wise Tension Head?

And would you mind sharing what kind of machine are you using? How should I take care the machine?

Appreciate if we could talk and share in email. Mine is tennisgoods at hotmail dot com

Many thanks.

Sorry, alittle off topic. But just wondering if tennis popular in HK? Was there 10 yrs ago and didn't seem to see many tennis courts. If so, are there many public courts or many private ones? If so, how much per hour in private ones?

Hello lewhoad, thanks for pointing me the direction. I'm wondering which website can I place an online order? Is the company Hong Kong based? Or otherwise, the shipping charge will be quite high.

I'll also go to victoria park to have a look.

What kind of tennis partner are you looking for? I guess I'm a 3.0, will that match with your skills?

To coolblue123, my feeling is that tennis is an average popular sports in Hong Kong when compare to say, badminton, basketball. I believe the number of public tennis courts are indeed not small consider the small territory of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong government has always position sports as a recreational activity (over competition, or professional athlete as career) which should be relative easy accessible by public, therefore, the number is not that small now I think.

However, we have to pay even for public court. It is like US$7 per hour at night. And there are indeed many people who will book the courts to play, so we are always in a competition of booking courts.
