what about the posters asking for a "comparative review" or asking why one should change a lightbulb/lamp

I wish i could take credit, but i poached it off the Mammoth Mtn forum, where people are very excited that there is finally some storm activity on the way.

OOps, i guess everybody has already seen it and no one will enjoy it.

You must be one of these:

4 to say “didn’t we go through this already a short time ago?”

13 to say “do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs”

Too funny!

You forgot about youtube:

3 posters who post vids from youtube of someone actually changing the light bulb.

Thereafter at least 10 posters who provide a NTRP rating, and begin debating the true NTRP rating of the light bulb changer. LMAO!

It takes three TW posters to change a light bulb. One to change the bulb and two to argue over whether Agassi or Federer could've done a better job.

7 TW male s1uts (you know who you are) who'll claim they never frequent red light districts, and that the 'red' lightbulbs are all just "paintjobs" anyway.

5 to call paintjob

12 to give you an NTRP rating despite that you are changing a "lamp"

2 who are just trolls, and admit it

20 posters claiming that it's not really light, it's just paint.

1 poster claiming GE stole their light bulb design and won't let the public have the best light bulb they could make.

...and finally 1 poster who thinks any light bulb could make more light than it currently does if it was just weighted properly

1 to post a video of his light bulb changing technique and claim that he will be a pro light bulb changer in less than one year.

(By the way, I really do think we've done this before. Let me Hancu it...)

;) - I was thinking something similar when reading this: It takes all the TW posters...one to actually change it, then the rest of the board to debate whether Sampras or Federer was the GOAT bulb-changer, based on the relative merit of each bulb changed, the equipment used to change the bulb, and the competition from other bulb changers.

30 to say that the original guy who changed the bulb is the GOAT.
Another 30 to say that in order to be LighbulbchangingGOAT, he needs to change the lighbulb 4 times in a year, but TWICE.

5 say using a small light bulb is not practical, and it's all about ego.

5 claim using a small light bulb forces them to improve their light bulb changing technique.

12 to adjust the bulb to SW2.

20 to say the SW2 bulb is too heavy to give good light.

2 to argue over whether to use mid size or mid plus bulb.

7 to ask if the filament is made from Aerogel.

200 to say filament from 100% graphite's better.

15 to say the light from the bulb was too harsh and gave them tennis-eye.

...

Man, I could go on ...

Thanks for this remake of a funny thread.

can't believe no-one mentioned Marius Hancu suggesting some websites to help prevent lightbulb related injuries - seriously thought, Marius' stuff is appreciated

Good stuff! Is this a flourescent or regular bulb? Those flourescent last longer so we won't have to change them so often and have so many posts about it.

one recurring light bulb-changer that never leaves, and 5 to point out its actually the same person.

one to make fleeting statements about how he wants to be a professional lightbulb changer, and 20+ to tell him he wont make it

25 to argue who was the G.O.A.T. of lightbulb-changing

4 to argue whether Compact flourescent bulbs are better for long turning motions, as opposed to incandescent

13 to make a lightbulb club for every lightbulb known to man. more than one per person.

3 to make detailed reviews of the lightbulbs that havent come out yet.

20 to buy these lightbulbs because the number one lightbulb changer got it.

7 to break their lightbulb out of stupidity, and blame it on the manufacturer.

and 9 to say we cant be picking who the G.O.A.T. is, because we havent seen some of them in action.
