In terms of feel (specifically with the bevels, but in general too), how much difference does leather make?
I have an overgrip I like, because it is soft, but it's somewhat think and sort of rounds out the grip, which I don't care for.
I wonder if using leather underneath (instead of Gamma Hi Tech) would allow me to use the same overgip and still get the bevel definition. Or is it the overgrip itself (regardless of the grip underneath) that is causing the loss of bevel definition?
The overgrip I like is Dunlop Hydramax. It's not very popular, I don't think, but there is nothing else like it. It's almost like cloth.
