I bought black chocolate because of federer

So, I was in the super market, buying my shopping. Looking at the chocolate isle after hearing dark chocolate is good for health. My final decision to which one I should buy? Lindt.

Turns out I don't really like the taste, it's a bit like having strong coffee for the first time. That won't mean I won't eat the rest of it though.

Also, I wonder if lindt is an acquired taste?

* federer is sponsored? By Lindt and does many promotional pieces for them.

The health benefits come from dark chocolate. I haven't heard the term "black chocolate" before. Dark chocolate comes in various percentages and the higher the number, the less palatable. You might try some 72 or 78 percent dark chocolate. Sounds like you might have gone much higher than those normally used for snacking.

I like the Ghirardelli small squares.

Too funny, how Fed has anything to do with dark chocolate, Lindt and coffee is beyond me lol!

Federer, if you call yourself a fan, is a supporter of Lindt and does many promotional pieces for them, such as Facebook and twitter. Dark chocolate was originally from the Swiss, according to Wikipedia, and most good high quality dark chocolate is from Switzerland, including lindt.

I bought the 70% version but I think I named the title wrong because I was looking online at higher percentages and I think I got mixed up with black and dark. Sorry.

70% should be okay unless you're used to milk chocolate. I like the 72% bark from Trader Joes. I tried something like 90% and it was awful..

Let's see, Fed promotes, Lindt, Rolex, Gillette, Nike, Wilsons, Moët & Chandon, Benz etc etc, does being a Fed fan means I gotta get all those too lol!

It's not like supporting one of his charities, I hardly think of Lindt when I think of Fed.

Sweet-Rogi-sexi-chocolate-masterclass. Can anyone resist a Rogi-chocolate? Answer: that was a rhetorical question.

The gap between 90% and 99% is ginormous! A friend from the board here sent me a bar of 99% from Switzerland bcoz I couldn't find it sold locally. It lasted more than a year, taking small slivers and dipping it in my morning coffee as my dosage method. If I do that with 90%, it's gone in a week.

Picked up a bag of Ghirardelli Intense Dark Twilight Delight after work today. I like their small squares - so you don't eat too much of the stuff. I'm taking small nibbles of the small bar. Very nice. It's 72% so it's not extreme.

Apparently they make a version that's 86% but I didn't see that at the grocery store - probably not a lot of demand for it. I can easily go to 78% - not a lot of experience above that except at 90% which I didn't like.

I bought a bar of Trader Joes 85% Dark tonight. My wife gave some to my daughter, myself and my daughter. Daughter brought hers to me and said that it tastes like tar. I thought it was great. Son thought it was great. I will buy more.
