Running Forehand:

Sampras. This can not be a modern forehand player. Modern multi-segment forehand has relatively weak production of running forehand. They need to plant the primary leg to hit forceful forehand. Two of the most modern forehand swingers of this era, both Federer and Nadal are vulnerable in their wide-stretched running forehand.

Blake's forehand is not overrated, karlovich is nearly impossibly to pass at the net and he has good control. Plus I think the fact that he serve n volley's alone makes him a contender in this catagory, how many players still do this on a regular basis? Dent?

isner is 1000 times better at net than karlovic and his serve combined (1st and 2nd) is also better than his by leaps and bounds. karlovics second serve is ok at best, while isners has been rumored to reach the stands behind the player.

Karlovic has a better serve than Isner. Isner has certainly improved his all round game, but Karlovic still has the better serve. Ivo is lagging slightly behind on the serve stats this year, but that's just due to poor form. He normally leads the tour on aces, but he's way behind this year. There's a reason that Karlovic has performed so much better than Isner over the last few seasons, both in terms of his ranking and in terms of stats. Ivo can also hit a harder first serve than Isner when he needs to (153mph is his record).
