I'm doing a friendly fat loss competition with a group of friends that will last for 8 weeks. My initial plan is to do the p90x program for 60 days, along with cardio 3 times a week. Is this the best option for fat loss and muscle growth?

I was looking for some sites through google on dieting....I know its something like 6 meals a day with protein, but i'm not so sure. There's alot of info regarding this online. I'm not asking for specific things to eat/avoid, but if anybody has some good/reliable sites that can get me started.

the group dynamic is awesome, I am truly jealous. I'm sure I would feel more motivated and inspired to achieve my own goals in a group. thanks for the idea....
