Invisible lead tape placement !!

Hey,

I thought about how I could use lead tape, while not being able to actually see it on the outside frame.

The benefits from that would be that you don't risk it coming off accidentally, you don't see the (often) ugly looking lead tape, even though the Babolat lead tape I use looks decent and you avoid the risk that the lead tape might peel off some of the paint on the frame.

I use Babolat Super Head Tape on all my racquets, so I thought it would be a smart idea to place the lead tape in small pieces under the Head protection tape inside the small pocket in the grommet.

It works perfect. I can not see the lead tape and I place 1.5 grams at 10, 11, 1 and 2 o'clock anyway (6 grams total) and this fits perfect with where the grommet on my Babolat PST GT starts and ends.

Does anyone use lead tape like this ?

I would post pics of it, but as you can't see the leadtape anyway, why bother

That's why I love the CAP grommets on the Prestige line...I know just how you feel.

Why would you want invisible lead tape? If you ever wanted it off you couldnt find it! Learn from wonder womans mistakes or you will repeat them.

Ummm, you hide one tape of tape with another type of tape? What's the point? Do you think the head tape is more attractive than lead tape???
