Is a win at each Masters Series worth the same?

Do you think a win at each Masters Series tournament is worth the same in achievement?

Obviously, the same in terms of ranking points, but it seems a win at Indian Wells or Miami is much more impressive than a win at the other tournaments because their draws are 96 compared to 56 and 48 for the other 7.

What do you think?

Monte Carlo, Rome & Shanghai are not that prestigious IMO, because the GOAT hasn't won them

I agree, and for the same reason think IW and Miami should be worth more points, like 1200 for the winner, seeing as you need to win an extra match compared to the other M1000's.

Due to the ridiculous dominance of the Big 4 in the past years, Miami and Toronto has become somewhat lackluster in 2012 and 2013, especially 2012 Toronto where basically the title was there for the taking for Novak.

Also MC has a relatively weaker field now that it's now not mandatory as well.

Montecarlo or Toronto are junk. They are like ATP 500.

The Canadian Masters is not junk! It is the 2nd oldest of the Masters tournaments after Cincy and for the past 10 years, the champion has always been either Federer, Nadal, Djokovic or Murray. Prior to that it boasts an impressive list of top players as its champions!

Fed skipped last year. Everyone skipped in 2012. Most players save themselves for Cinci and USO.

Not as bad as Shanghai and MonteCarlo, but more close to them than IW, Miami, Rome and Madrid.

Miami is the biggest followed by Indian Wells.

Monte Carlo is the least important, it isn't even mandatory.

And just because Fed skipped it, made you think like that, huh. Fed is your be-all and end-all in tennis, huh. Your KADism restricts your objectivity. Try to learn more about tennis history.

Of course it is, Nadal won the last edition :)

They're more impressive depending on whether you beat quality opposition or not.

You missed the part where i said everyone including your fake God skipped . It had value till the last decade. It is lowering in value last few years.

Rome is the biggest and most prestigious clay master. Congrats Novak for winning it twice. That's worth 1.5 Roland Garros because you beat Rafa in one of those. You are the second best clay courter of the last 10 years.

Best players on clay (last 10 years)
1. Nadal
2. Djokovic
3. Federita

Yes. Novak is better than Fed. Fed has merely won FO, reached just about 4 other FO finals and won just Madrid. has only reached finals at Rome.

Just stop it , you troll.
