Is Berdych the biggest underachiever...ever?

Well at least Fed and co. came along and took the game out of its torrid stagnation.

May we make a shrine.

Lol no, he almost lost 6:0 6:0 to Djokovic last year.

But I guess his girlfriend is worth at least 4 slams.

I'd throw around Phillipoussis or Nalbandian before Berdych

Agassi probably could have won more than he did, but I can't say 8 slams is an underachievement

I remember the one time Jo Durie was commentating on a Tomas Berdych match. I've listened to some drooling commentators in my time, but I remember this the most. She was talking about a fantasy of having Tomas Berdych and Dolph Lundgren at the same time, etc.

Imho Nadal is!

from as early as 3 slams, people were praising him as GOAT, but he didnt even get to become greater than Sampras! that is massive underachievement!

The OP must be kidding. Berdych is basically a talentless and mentally weak baseliner.

Why not come up with truly talented players who underachieved? Guys with tons of innate talent:

Mecir
Leconte
Gerulaitus
Santoro
Dogopolov

The top of the list should be Ivan Lendl, who choked endless slams against inferior competition: Edberg, Becker and especially Cash. Ivan had limited talent, but worked like a dog and was consistent beyond belief.

Berdych is a mindless drone out there. Horrible to watch and a complete a-hole in person.
