If Fed 2019-20 had been either of the most recent GS finals, he'd have taken at least one of them.

Why should he retire? He came within a point of defeating Nadal and Djokovic in succession to win Wimbledon. Why stop now when that's still within reach?

He can absolutely win more.

This could be his last chance to retire before being passed, and he can say with sincerity that it was COVID/family/injuries that led him to retire. By coming back, is he risking his legacy in one last delusional gambit to salvage his slam record?

Or, does he simply love tennis and is not a record-chaser like some other players? He plays for love of the game and does not care about the slam record? He is at peace with himself and wants to play only to compete? If so, is he the true GOAT no matter what? A man willing to play till the end, even if it means watching his records surpassed?
