Isospeed strings

Hi guys,

Does anyone have much experience with isospeed? I do a lot of stringing and I'm a big fan of both isospeed professional/control and isospeed cream for their excellent arm protection and playability. They are my go to options for players with arm issues and young juniors. But I've never tried anything else in their line up

I've been so impressed with the two I do stock it's made me want to try others, but it seems reviews are hard to come by and the company is hard to contact for advice also.

Appreciate any feedback players have of their strings!

Isospeed Baseline is a very good Budget string. 40€ a reel in Germany, they don't produce Sets. Don't be confused. They gave their Gauges different Names. Baseline Control (1.30), B. Speed (1.25), B. Spin (1.20). It's all the same string.

Another one i like is Isospeed Black Fire S. 6 Sided, Comfortable String with high Spin Potential and a nice Snapback due to a Liquid Wax Coating. It wears off over time but playability and Durability is above average i would say.
Strung up both of them for different Player Levels and everyone gave positive Feedbacks.

I can chime in as I have tried many of their strings and have quite a few reels.

Baseline: Comes in gauges from 1.20 to 1.35 with different names. Soft poly with not so great durabiltiy and not so great tension maintenance.
Very good for its price and a good option for someone transitioning from synthetics to poly for the first time. Needs higher tension as it's quite soft.

Black Fire: Prestretched, very controlled poly that keeps tension forever and has good durability. Has a bit of a breakin period and great for low tension.

Black Fire S: Like Black fire but lightly shaped.

Grey Fire: A livelier Black Fire, great of the stringer. Not too soft, not too stiff.

Rexxxer: Slippery oval poly, ideal as a cross string in gut/poly or multi/poly to keep the mains alive. Probably great in poly/poly hybrids but I don't really use those.

V18: Thin yellow poly (comes in 1.12 and 1.17). Keeps tension suprisingly long for such a thin string. The combination of thin string and their usual wax coating gives great spin. Felt similar enough to Black fire but slightly more lively.

Second service: Poly made from recycled PET plastic. It's good for that but I think the above polys are better for playability. As I like the feel quite a bit and I got a bunch of sets in a sale I use this in hybrids sometimes.

Professional/Control Classic: Super soft but still not too high powered multi. My favourite of their multis. Soft, good control, decent spin. Needs to be strung rather high.

Professional/Control New: This is closer to rip control than prof/control classic. Also soft but as much as classic. Needs lower tension than classic.

Energetic (plus): A bit like control new but less power ribbons and more fiber core. I didn't like it as much as prof/control classic or new but I've only tried them once since I had the others on reel already. The plus feels a bit different but they are quite similar nonetheless.

As I am in Austria, it's easy to get them very cheap so that makes them hard to beat for me personally.

I've played Cream full-bed with a light-weight racket 3 years ago, when I started tennis. Now, I'd choose it for the crosses in a hybrid setup.
I'm in complete agreement with @veelium about Black Fire, Second Service, Grey Fire and V18.

I've also played Rexxxer that seemed very close with another oval-shaped string from Stringlab Italia, named Orbitour Gold.

Isospeed makes great quality strings. All feel that way when touching them when stringing (liquid wax).

I would stock-up Black Fire and Grey Fire (slightly livelier) 1.25 and I'd try their triangular "Pyramid" with Cream for top-spin hitters.

I'll send you a private message with a couple email addresses to get in touch with them.

I have a reel of Black Fire 1.25 and like it a lot. Low powered so you can swing out freely. It's very slick too, like poly tour fire, but better feeling for me.
I'm not sure about "keeps it tension forever" as someone has mentioned, I notice a difference in playability after a couple of hours. The first three hours are awesome really.

If the string is good enough for a couple of lower ranked ATP players and was good enough for former World No.2 Kontaveit, it's good enough for me :)
