It does feel like a toy

I tried my best to like the kblade 93 but it does feel hollow to me. Toy is the best way to describe the feeling. It is just a personal feeling and I don't mean, of course, to insult any of its owners. I could go as far as to say that I prefer the lm prestige mid to that stick. Where can I go now, what can I try?

Well...What are you looking for in your next stick? And Kblade like a toy? Really? I thought the dense pattern amde it feel really boardy.

Ditto -- "boardy" is a good description of my impressions as well, which is why I went with the livelier feel of the KB98. Feeling like a toy is an incongruous description IMO.

Sounds like a candidate for 17 gauge natural gut

17 ga. natural gut does work quite well in the K Blade. I am currently stringing mine in the mains with VS 17 ga. and the crosses with BB Ace 112. This is a good combination.

The K Blade is not as solid as the K 90, but I feel it is a very solid racquet. It doesn't feel like a toy to me, but everyone feels different things.

Maybe you didn't hit hard enough with it?

Once it begins to bend and so long as you let fly with it, it seems to sting the ball pretty well. I seemed to get consistent depth and/or put the ball on shoelaces at net.

It's certainly heftier/stronger than the 98, I guess you'd call that a chew-toy (if ya got kids y'll understand).

I'd like a little more "mass"

I tried.

As promised some pics of lead placement.

Quite the opposite... I hit too hard with it. I tried the k90 in the past and had no problem on the short run but it tired me to hit with it for too long. Mine were 370 grams heavy (strung). I need something a little lighter.

to give you an idea, the best racquet I ever tried for my groundstrokes was the n90.
Now I'm undecided between a microgel prestige mid and a k90... Are they comparable?
Any advice?
