ITF or Tennis Europe

Hi guys,

I am 15 turning 16 in may and at the moment I am starting to see major improvements in my game and want to give it my best in turning professional.
I just wanted to ask what would be better for me.
Playing ITF tournaments or Tennis Europe?

Thanks

Hey KayserRF, It is great you are playing tennis and having fun. Starting to play tennis at 12 or 13 makes it is pretty difficult to turn pro. It is really pretty difficult to make it as a pro starting at any age.

As a 7.2 at 15 almost 16 you are in a tough spot. I would suggest playing in some local tournaments and see how you do. Playing ITF’s or Tennis Europe is going to really throw you in the deep end of the swimming pool.

The ITF guys are going to be level 6.1 at least and probably 5.2 and higher. You might find a 7.1 in Tennis Europe but it is unlikely.

Have fun, keep playing, and more than anything else study hard in school. Most people go pro in something other than sports.

I actually am playing tournaments and am turning to either 7.2 or 7.1 in April.
And about the professional thing, I know I started late but honestly I'm going to give it my best, because even if I don't make it at least I can say I've tried. Bw what's your name?
