Jack Kramer Pro staff

I recently purchased a jack kramer wooden racket for the fun of owning one.. When it got here it had a string broken.. So how do i restring it? Same as a normal one? And at what tension, with what string? Thanks

I string my Kramer Autographs with Wilson gut at 58 lbs, but I like tight strings; most would probably string looser. Just be sure to protect the bottom couple holes with leather, or the string will cut right through the wood.

I used the Kramer Auto. with natural gut and same tension 55 lbs. I used mediums and from a child onwards it was "the tension" clay or cement. funny my brother played the Pro Staff and LOVED IT. I hated the way it played, I checked one of his frame out and thought it was odd. I still have two Kramer firm flex Auto.s theye have black graphics and were made in England. the firm flex was by far my fav. hard to find a lot of times.
