By all accounts a great guy, qualified for the Aus Open earlier this year and has announced he is giving up. Good luck with whatever you do next.

Had to look this up, hasn't made an announcement yet.

Might wait until this year's US Open before making any statements. Will miss him and that blistering forehand.

Good choice. Not that very many people care- Jamie Baker was irrelevant as far as professional tennis players go. I'm sure he'll enjoy spending the rest of his life selling Cornish pasties (he'd at least make more money doing that than he did trying to play tennis).

Get a little esteem boost with that one?

This made me sad...until I realized you are not talking about BRIAN BAKER...who's comeback was an inspirational story, and one I look forward to continuing after his knee heals.

Jamie Baker?

A journeyman, insignificant player, quits tennis every week somewhere in the world...not news...sorry, not trying to hate...just mistaken identity brought me here.

Jamie Baker came back from a life threatening illness, not just a sore knee.
