KPS 88 vs PSL vs TT Warrior MP vs BLX 90

I'm starting to serve and volley/chip and charge exclusively again and was looking at these racquets. I'm taking a kps 88 out this weekend but I was wondering how these racquets played since I only briefly played with the blx and I have never played with the Pure Storm LTD or TT Warrior MP. Thanks

What's your current or previous racket? I felt that the TT Warrior was perfect for S&V, what little I do. The bigger headsize allowed for more margin for error on reflex volleys, and it had enough pop in stock form that you didn't have to swing for the fences to get the ball to move, and the light sw with light static weight meant that racket speed was really easy. I very nearly switched to it, but I didnt like what I did with the groundstrokes.. which is how i choose frames. If i was more comfortable moving in, I definitely would have gone with it.

The TT Warrior has always looked kinda interesting to me,..based on specs,....and has a pretty big fan base here,....looks a little stiff though,....(and i prefer 18x20s),...:-|

The PSL is absolutely amazing at volleys.
The best volleying racquet I've ever used. Serves were good too, once I got used to it.

The KPS88... Wow. That thing was terrifying. I felt like even the volleys had tons of power. Not as much feel, but I'm sure if you got used to it it could be great too.

You'll really have to demo those two together, they go with two totally different games.

KPS 88 - exceptionally stable due to the weight which helps on volleys (no twisting on anything off-centre) BUT, due to the weight, swingweight and only moderate balance it is exceptionally slow through the air which is a limitation on volleys.

TT Warrior MP - Ultimately, I found it to be far too light. It's nice to volley with and makes spin easy to generate but it is quite anaemic.

PSL - a genuinely nice all-around racquet with good touch but it isn't overly powerful, has a tight string pattern and is a bit light-weight SO you'll need to either add some weight (it does give you a lot of leeway to do that and not make the racquet too cumbersome) or be able to generate your own power and spin.

BLX 90 - Stable like the KPS88, but so much easier to swing. Power, spin and control are all good. Only trouble is that it lacks some mobility.

Personally, the PSL and BLX 90 were my favourites but, if I were you, I'd also try the Prestige Mid. It's very stable (not as much as the BLX but moreso than the PSL) but still quite mobile (not as much as the PSL but moreso than the BLX).

Also: don't limit yourself. I serve/volley and chip/charge most all of the time and I found the Pure Drive to be an excellent racquet for that style of game. Ultimately it lacked the feel I was looking for but for volleying, serving, chip/charging it was exceptionally effective.
