Ksix-one Team Spec Discrepancy

Tennis Warehouse says the Ksix-one Team is weighted at 10.9 oz (309g) and has an even balance.

But the spec's on both of my K6.1 Team (and my cousin's too) say that it weighs 10.2 oz (289g) and is 4pts head light. Also, I checked the balance points myself and it's really 5pts head light. Will check actual weights tomarrow.

Has anyone heard/seen this before? After all, 20 grams is a pretty big difference...

The specs printed on racquets are usually unstrung. When you add the weight of the string, it alters the overall weight and balance.

1. Wilson is VERY well known to have terribly bad quality control.
2. Specs listed on racquet are unstrung specs.
3. TW specs are strung specs, TW gets their specs by taking several racquets and getting their averages.

How hard can it be for the racquet makers to add the word "UNSTRUNG" (or "STRUNG") to their racquet spec labels?

I don't know....think of how much extra ink they'll be using!!! THey'll have to charge like 7 extra dollars per racket! (sarcasm o' course.)

Thanks SF. I thought TW listed manufacturer's specs, but I stand happily corrected.

why would they do that, when everyone already knows its unstrung specs...they have no idea what strings your going to put into the racquet and that can make a difference...

it doesnt make sense for them to list specs any other way...
