Leading up a KPS 88

So, I've been looking into getting the KPS 88, but there's one thing I'm slightly worried about. While the unmodified weight won't be a problem (I'm a triathlete-in-training), I really do prefer playing with very head-light sticks, and I was wondering just how much lead it would take, and where to put it, to bring the stick to a say, 10-12 HL balance.

You can put some lead tape under the grip or in the buttcap; it's not a big deal. I have done this to all of mine.

I put one pack of Babolat lead tape, which is 18 grams I think, onto the handle. (It changed the grip shape a little, but I like a rectangular handle anyway.) That brought it to 12 points head light, which feels great.

K, so around 12 grams if I wanted it 10 pts headlight, one could conclude. I gather you put it on the outside of the grip?

you can insert some screws into the soft material in the buttcup, and if it can be opened without touching a grip you can adjust your weighting even faster

the KPS 88 is prolly the most head-heavy (stock) of all recent 12oz+ frames. if you like iced-coffee, why buy piping hot coffee & then try to ice it?

KPS88 isnt head-heavy its just heavy overall...and i agree that KPS88 might play better with more headlight weighting

I don't know, there's too much math involved in that, but it sounds about right.

I did put it on the outside (under the leather), along the handle, not around.
