How does everyone else on here that is a coordinator send a text or email

Ive been captain for a few years but now im running the show.

Im just not all that great with wording things sometimes.
How do i invite people to my next 7.5 combo doubles league

What the heck, this is what mine looks like so far.

Hello everyone. This is Chris _________, I am the new local league coordinator. I am inviting you to our
southern combo 7.5 doubles league which starts Thursday August 12 at 6:30 at Colonial Field Park.
As of now, we have 4 teams which will be 4 courts of doubles. If we get enough interest and i believe we will,
it will be 4 teams with 3 courts of doubles. A 7.5 combo league is where a 4.0 player plays with a 3.5 .

Im stuck at this point or maybe i can end it there

Well ... I think you are being way too mamby-pamby and not enough specifics. Is this for men only? for women? is this mixed?
(as a female captain, this email thus far would tick me off! What if I got a team together via my massive text messaging / whatsapp group and then you tell me men only ...... when you didn't bother putting it in the email!)

Quick intro ... maybe include that you have been a captain and look forward to supporting captains and growing the local leagues.

We have team entries available for our 7.5 Combo league.
League starts 8.12 with matches at 6:30pm at Colonial Field park
Matches will be played every Thursday at 6:30.

4 courts of doubles, max rating 7.5, maximum spread between partners is 1.0 (e.g. 4.0 and 3.5, but players can play "up" 0.5 level)

Please contact me asap if you are interested. We have 4 teams already, minimum roster is 8 players. Deadline for entry is 8.10.

????? You would be emailing/texting men if it was a women's league?

.... or just that the women got their sh*t together and didn't need an email/text to get teams signed up?

ETA locally we have some women who captain men's teams and some men who captain women's teams (non-playing captains)

Well, the main thing is probably working on your communication skills; you've had a few issues in this thread. Also in the first e-mail you were putting forth, you've provided more information than you need to and it's just confusing (why would the number of teams stay the same and the number of matches go down if the number of people signing up increases?) I also don't really know what you mean when you say "4 teams which will be 4 courts of doubles". That would be where my focus would go, and I'd spend time trying to figure out what you're trying to say.
