Looking for people to play tennis around Miami during Sony Ericsson Open Mar.27-30

I wanted to post this in the South Florida group but I couldn't find that thread.

A group of buddies and I are planning on going down to Miami/Key Biscayne on the 27th of 28th and will be leaving back to Gainesville on the 30th.

Ratings:

Me (Lubomir) 3.0-3.5
Tomas 4.0-4.5
Steve 4.0-4.5 (also on this board username Photoshop)
Chris 3.0
Laxman (not sure if he's coming with us) 5.0-5.5


We're not sure where we're staying yet but we're probably willing to travel within 45 minutes of Key Biscayne to meet up with others and play. We'd prefer public courts (or ones without fees) but if the fees aren't too bad we'd be willing to split them. As far as times, we're not sure as we all have different matches we'd like to see and since they're going to be playing 1st/2nd round matches at the time we're there, it might be best to play sometime at night.

We'd prefer people that are around our ability level but we'll play with anyone male/female of almost any ability level.

Also, if you have any advice of what to do down there besides going to beach that'd be very helpful. Any advice as far as food, accommodation is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm coming to the Sony Ericsson - My flight arrives at about 11am on Friday, (3/28/08) but I only have tickets for the late session that day. So from about 1-5pm, I'm free to hit.

I'm also up for late night, after tournament tennis....maybe.

I'm a 3.5.

Yeah I figured most people will want to get thier drink on during and afterwards.

Guess I'll have to be designated driver as I shouldn't drink due to an interaction with some life-saving meds I'm taking.
