Nadal is injury-prone and can't go through an entire season without trouble due to physically demanding hardcourts.

yes, its hard to see federer closing the gap..he did amazing last year winning a major and 3 masters and no1 again for 302wks..
nadal even if he gets back to 100% of his old level cant make up ground until after wimbledon..even then he is miles behind djokovic,
that leaves murray with a 4000 point deficit...hmmmmmmm i suppose he has some easy points increase at the 2 usa hc in spring, and then the clay season..but he needs to improve on clay though..
