Lorenzo Musetti

Dunno about the no serve thing... It isn't Isner, but it is still competent. He won this serve off of Nishikori:

And the kid can volley as well. He's 18, so he's showing promise. His endurance, strength, and shot-making should improve from here. I mean, it took Thiem 27 years to win a slam.
That's only 10 years more than the previous generation took(including the WTA)...*cough*. Sinner impresses as well. It's crunch time now at the IO, so we'll see how he and SInner fair.

I was talking about Alcaraz re. serve.

So the Musetti Juggernaut came to a shuddering halt today, bagel and all, at the hands of Koepfer, a veteran journeyman with a great future behind him.

Does this mean we put consideration of young Lorenzo's future ATG status back on the shelf for a while?

Lorenzo was hurting

Fully fit and healthy Lorenzo would've blitzed, time for another guy to take the mantle from my boy RAFA, that's right

Musetti was given a late wild card into the Challenger in Forli, Italy. If he and Frances Tiafoe win their first matches, they are set to contend in the 2nd round. Could be another interesting match for him.
