Lta grade 4 tournament FINAL

Good quality video Dave and probably highest standard to date. Fabrice has a solid forehand that really drives through the court

Really nice video and very solid playing. I'd rather watch these two guys battle it out than watch most pro matches - I love the variety. But I'm disappointed in this thread so far; no one has come forward to try to convince us that these guys would be 4.0 players in Texas and that Fabrice can't be that good because he slices 90% of his BHs. C'mon people!

Dave, out of curiosity, how old (roughly) are these guys?

44 yrs and 17yrs , Fabrice was a 0 rated player in the French system as a younger man now he's getting back into playing again Tibo has English rating of 4.1

Fabrice was a 0-rated player when he was younger? Impossible! Again, he slices 90% of his BHs! I'm kidding, of course.

I'll tell you what would be a great UK senior match to film if you could put them together sometime: Fabrice v. (TT's) Moz on clay. Moz is probably a borderline 5.0/5.5 player and is 43, I believe. Moz might be the better grinder but Fabrice might be stronger on the attack, although I've seen a lot more of Moz's play than Fabrice's. Anyhow, it would be a fun match to watch.

The issue with LTA is that you can not self rate and they start you at 7.2 best case scenario - I play for a premier league team and we have a guy who used to played on the Satellite tour - he is awesome. the LTA rate him as 7.2.He cleans guys up in the team easily who have 3.2 rankings. He entered a tournament and pulled out as he would have had to play qualifying matches x 5 then main draw - we know the guy who lost in a close final and this guys beats him easy - its just such a deterrent to play LTA tournaments. Its actually a joke.

I didn't even pay attention to my rating. I had played premier league matches, but mostly in the 1st div for years. Last year, started playing aegon and I had to check my rating. It was 10.2 and hadn't registered any of my past matches. It is still at 10.2. I just play in local tournaments.

Are you in London - we are a player or two short this year for our team - its West Premier

Awesome tennis, so is this just a concrete pad turned into a tennis court?
If anyone ever does play regents pk be sure to avoid court 3 as a large tree root has created a speed bump inside the baseline ,£11 per hour BTW

wow. Tennis is a joke in this country. We could learn a lot from europe. I go to Croatia to play on clay. They have better facilities than our **** poor astro crap, real tennis courts and the competition level at some of the clubs is so much better than here. I know as well, the culture of that region as I was born there and possibly because of socialism and other factors, but being a sportsman or someone who is competitive is almost revered. People will ask you "Do you train", a general question regarding any sport. And you are respected, this goes for education as well. Here in Britain we don't give a **** about anything, no passion. All we care about is fking money, we are just the middle men in the world, the tax dodgers, the money counters, we don't create anything.

That's not true - we create good accountants for dodging tax

Took me a while, but I finally spotted Dave in the red pullover. Thanks for another great match up. That backhand battle on one point was excellent, especially with the topspin drive winner by Fabrice. Inspiring tennis for sure.

Wow. Even though tennis is not popular here there is tons of access to free courts and even pristine free courts. You do have to spend $2 on balls every other time though ;)

That's the impression I got. Young, very fit player against older, very strong (physically) player.

D-1, or 5.5 level tennis.
Most shown serves were 2nd serves, after they missed the first.
Like the outfit on the girl on the adjoining court, at the very beginning of the video.
