yea i go from time to time they have some good stuff but it all matters if you get their when they get new stuff otherwise you prob wont find your size.
went a couple of weeks ago and found vapors v for 60 bucks but they didnt have my size. I guess you can say i was very disapointed. But usually everything their is wayyy less expensive than things at regular stores.

well im not rlly looking for shoes i just really wants nadal capris

I was at a Nike outlet today (Gilroy, CA) and they had many of Nadal's Australian Open shorts. Officially, they are the Spring Long Check Short. Priced at $35. TW has them for $45 right now. I am not sure if you consider them capris, but they are longer than Nike's normal shorts.

I did pick up a pair of Breathe Cage I's for about $45. I just started wearing a pair of Cage II's about 3 weeks ago, so they new ones will have to wait. However, the Cage I's seem to have a very comfortable fit. I am looking forward to them!

I am not sure about this, but I remember hearing somewhere that Nike will ship shoes from another outlet to you (you just pay for shipping, I assume). Will they do the same for clothes? Call the Gilroy store and find out.

Cheers!

How come the TJ Maxxs & Marshalls don't have tennis apparel or sneakers for that matter? We have dozens of them within a 50 mile radius & if you find 1 shirt in size XXXL, you've got yourself a find lol. And don't tell me Adidas running sneakers are tennis sneakers either like some of the store employees do. People all over the country post on here lauding their tennis finds at the above stores & I scratch my head. I guess in Northern NJ, there is no market at those stores for tennis apparel?

This weekend in the women's shoes section at TJ Maxx my girlfriend found Nike Breathe Cage II for $40 and K-Swiss Approach for $30.

TW truly has great service-allowing a thread like this to last. i applaud them

Yeah, I could see how they would want to shut down a thread like this, since it is all about cheaper deals at other places. However, once I start looking at clothes at places mentioned in above posts and have no luck finding them, I am honestly more likely to buy from TW because I want the goods! :)

Once the search is on, I do not give up.

Cheers!

Finding deals at Marshalls and TJ Maxx and an easy freebie

I used to work for Marshalls and TJ Maxx. The best names are often in locations far from retailers that sell the same items at full price. They also have better stuff in wealthier towns so when you are travelling stop if you are in a nice place and see a store.

BTW here is an option for a freebie. Throw your name into the hat for Novak's adidas Wimbledon top and shorts.

Talking Of Bargains

I went into my local nike shop (England) and I came across the tennis section which had a big 50% off sign. I was so amazed when I saw the French open ballistics for £50 ( $82 ) and the French and Miami polo for £22 each ( $36 ). I was so amazed I grabbed them all and left a happy customer. They also had the shorts white checked but even the small was to wide for me ! crazy !

why do these stores get these leftover tennis clothing?

Some tennis retailers, could be big places like Nordstrom, or even Nike themselves, have massive amounts of leftovers that they need to get rid of. They have new inventory to put on their shelves and no longer need old inventory.

I assume they would rather sell last year's items to a company like Ross or Marshalls, even for pennies on the dollar, then try to slowly get rid of stuff on clearance racks that take up room in their store. Plus, why try to sell an old shirt for $30 when you can try to entice someone to buy the new model for $65. There is simply more money to be made with the new stuff.

I just can't imagine how little these secondhand retailers must buy their clothes for. Seriously, how else could TJ MAXX sell a $65 dollar shirt for $16.99 and Ross sell something priced at $55 for $14.99. They need to make a profit, so they must buy CHEAP! I'm jealous... :)

Cheers!

OK, Here's a list of what I have found so far at Ross, TJ, and Marshalls for those interested in my awesome finds...

All of the adidas I have found at Ross. The nike AO 2008 polo's have been scattered between marshalls and tj. The other nike drifit polos at Ross. I have only found shorts at ross and marshalls, ross having sizes no smaller than XL; marshalls having the right sizes, just not the color i'm looking for (all being red). So I have had no luck in the shorts department (i'll just have to play bottomless and palm the second ball.:)) Classic court tee was found at ross.

Still waiting for the Adidas spring edge prints (verdasco, baghdatis) to come into stores, if ever.

A word to the buyers. Look in the activewear tops and bottoms, and possibly knit tops sections of each store. Also, shipment days are different between stores, ask one of the nice ladies inside what these days generally are. Example, shipments may come in on tuesday, but will not hit the floor until Thursday. Lastly, be patient and the goods will come.

Best way to do it is go to Browse Categories from the Buy button at the top.
->Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
->Athletic Apparel (under Men's Clothing)
->Then on the Left you can refine your search by Type, Size, Sport and Brand. For example: M, Tennis, Nike

I went into TJMaxx this afternoon and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this...

NMWAP-RD-1.jpg

and this...

NMSSPHC-GY-1.jpg

...on the rack. The polo was $16.99 and the crew top was $12.99. I know these stores can have some good name brand clothing but usually you don't find anything from such relatively new-at-retail lines. Woo hoooo!!

Wow... i envy you simply 'cuz if i could find the clothes that i wear (Fila) at a price like that i would have gone broke buying it all...

Even though my white/silver Vapor VI is stiff and hardly wear them, just got these pairs 20 mins ago. Couldn't resist the price, $50 each at Norstrom Rack, in Towson, MD.

vi2o.jpg

They also have CB1.2 for $50 each as well. Tried on a pair and they're stiff in the heels. If CB1.3 is the same as 1.2, I don't know how you guys can put up with it.

Also they have this Nike tennis shoes, I've no idea what it is. It features Drag-on, XDR, Medial drag, etc...

I think it depends on the store. I went to nordstrom rack but I could not see any tennis shoes but I got a nike short and adidas jacket (it was a running jacket but the quality was really good).

Woo!

Just got an adidas men's Spring Edge Djoko Crew at Ross for $14.99.

I need to stop buying shirts, but they are so cheap! I can't resist.:)

My wife and I just bought our first house, are both a little broke right now, and I'm still buying shirts. She is not super pleased, but at least it was cheap!

Cheers!
