Does anyone know what string and tension mackie is using?

He was using 2015 Blade during his college season at UCLA so maybe he’s still using it

As of late Jan 2019, he was using a prostock Blade 16x19 with shiny paint. Probably wasn't an H22 since the beam wasn't as boxy and the last cross didn't go down quite as far.

He's using the 2015 model 16x19 during his UCLA year and changed the green grommet to black.

Does he add weight to the handle? I would assume any high level player using a Blade probably does.

Have you been following his "My Tennis Life" on youtube? They have some clips with him playing when he was in College and I think he uses something very close to or in the Blade family for sure. Pro Stock of course.. Because I don't think there is anyone using a Blade or Blade Paint that is using a stock blade we can buy from TW.

It sounds little different when he hits the ball from the days when he was playing at UCLA. I think it is slightly different version of blade. He also added significant amount of power to all his shots. Not sure if that is just that he got better and better conditioning and strengthing ,, or racket helped some

I thought the same thing, but he did use a 16x19 in college.

FWIW, I know that I had to use the top green grommet insert instead of the black one (from a CV Blade) on my 2015s, when I replaced to the black grommet. Oddly enough, the black grommets add slightly more SW than the green grommets. I've yet to get a CV and put the green grommets on, but I will do this at some point.

^^^^ Yep the CV one will fit (everything but the top insert).
