Maryland Lessons

I have been taking a few lessons from a local pro, but I have decided to look around for another instructor. I have been thinking about going to a one week camp, but I decided it would be better to take the money and find a local instructor, that I could work with over many months. I am located in central MD near the Howard/Carroll County area. I don't mind driving for good instruction, as I am only a 1/2 hour from Rockville. If anyone has suggestions on places/people for lessons, I would greatly appreciate it.

come to a MAC meet. you can find plenty of good hitters. although that doesnt mean they can teach

Zapvor I will come to a MAC meet, when I get my strokes worked out. Almost every sport you can find great players that can't teach. On the other hand some great teachers don't play that well, but have great technical skills but don't have the footwork.

awwww. why not come? trust me not everyone in the MAC is good. have you seen me? i suck. just ask the other MACers. its all about fun anyways. besides i think there will be more eating than tennis.

I have looked in Columbia, but I am trying to stay away from Columbia Assoc. I was a member many moons ago.

I know there are many country clubs and member only places in MD. Does anyone have good on bad feedback on something like that?

Severn Valley in Odenton is a good club. Lots of clinics and some good pros. You do not need to be a member, it is just cheaper for members.

I know some dudes that also like Severn Valley. A couple more of my teamates are members at bowie sportfit and have no complaints about it.
