Vollaix has retro'ed that if you're into a version of it without the swoosh. He does incredible workI had the white shirt with the blue and black checked "rip" through the middle and matching embroidery on the edge of the collar and sleeves.
Probably my all time favourite tennis shirt. Wore it until it was just threads.
That's it! Just needs to trim around the collar!Vollaix has retro'ed that if you're into a version of it without the swoosh. He does incredible work

He did get to the 1985 US Open finals but that was it.Really cool designs from nike. I find it very ironic that he stopped winning GS titles when he stopped wearing ST.

He played his best tennis in Sergio TacchiniYeap, that was that. I'm old enough to know that in life everything counts and nothing is by chance. That's why I find it ironic that for John no ST meant no GS, ha
For sure, and it was a lot of fun to watch (on tape, for meHe played his best tennis in Sergio Tacchini
This stuff is amazing! This dude is cataloging all the annual clothing lines for Agassi starting in 1986 and the first few hears has overlap with the McEnroe/Checkered stuff. Seems to have all the different variations of the checkered shirts. Not sure if this guy is doing the art himself, but pretty cool:

Going thru all the pages, is it just me or the designs went from wow! to okay, in the end? Also, moving to adidas didn't help with the wow factor, hahahaha
Well they (Nike) did move to the skateboard/punk rock/surf like influence of the early ‘00. That’s why you saw mostly white and black and a small mix of color. This stuff is amazing!

It’s all me. I learned the basics of adobe photoshop when I was 17. my sister moved back in with us after finishing art school (Savannah College of Art and Design) in 1994. She had a brand new Apple Macintosh and she knew graphic design. She taught me and I had a fun time making weird pictures. That was 25 years ago, and I’ve kept up my skills. All the designs and all the artwork on my website is my creation. It’s a lot of fun. Like playing tennis, it’s agonizing at first because you can’t do anything right. But, with great practice you can really impress. This dude is cataloging all the annual clothing lines for Agassi starting in 1986 and the first few hears has overlap with the McEnroe/Checkered stuff.
