I didn't say Kevin Anderson is delusional, son. Even if recent comments would suggest otherwise. I just said his tennis and fist pumping lack subtlety.

Zverev is much more confident than in his last two matches...maybe the rivalry with Nick brings something else to him

You must have missed their last match in the DC earlier this year. Z looked very comfortable in that match.

Oh, I meant in his last two matches in this tournament (Medvedev and Ferrer). What you said helps me prove Zverev can bring his best game when playing against Nick.

Today's Zverev looks a completely different player from his past matches from Indian Wells and Miami

I hate how lackadaisical Kyrios is during points. He hits a ball then just stands there instead of getting ready for the return

Yeh Z is playing good he likes the match-up now. This is a replica of their Davis Cup match. Z has the back-court advantage which makes Nick have to play a bit more re-actively than he wants and makes NK have to take a few too many risks and Z has also added some bigger serving.

It's hard to tell how Zverev is playing. Kyrgios spent half the first set pretending he had a back/hip issue so had to do a lot of non competing to rationalise the non existent injury. In the second set he's opened a service game with a between the legs volley then followed it with drops shots that either bounce before the net or sit up mid court for a practice drill put away to get broken. I'd want to see Zverev against someone who treats the match as a contest rather than a circus before reading too much into this.

Yeah, I agree. The big serving is a must if he wants his game to flow like it should and today has been pretty good with the exception of the game he got broke (2 DFs iirc).

Coric will be a big test to the serve since he returns a lot better than Kyrgios. I still think Zverev's forehand is far from the best form but he will have the chance to improve it in tons of rallies against Borna.

Well, if Coric is not that tired, this is the match you want. He has the advantage in the H2H, he is playing great for almost four weeks now and he is a consistent player who will demand a lot of effort if Zverev wants to beat him. Coric is also a great competitor.

Looking forwards to that match to see how the rallies play out to see if Z can bully an in form Coric like he did to NK!

I'm sure where Zverev sits will be shown in the next couple of matches. Not many model their game on Kyrgios.

I should mention I started watching at 5-2 in the first set, so missed that part.
