Milos as Cool Hand Luke

Clearly out of gas, barely moving, with the match outcome in no doubt, but still pounding ace after ace to the bitter end against Lacko; a lesson on how a tennis pro should act on the court. Vamos Milos!

Of his career? He only 27.

Yeah a little quick to write him off I think. Had there been events in December, he's likely got 4-8 matches under his belt coming into this event, and likely a different level of performance, and match fitness. He had some good points, but just isn't there yet.

Maybe let's wait until Wimbledon to see before posting as though he would have trouble in a Challenger event.

He looked hurt. I'm not sure he's 100%. Maybe he should take some time off to fully recover.

At tie break tens I could already see that he was off physically. Looks to have gained a few pounds.

He needs to put the hours in to come back at the top again. And I believe he will be back in the top 10 in the future.

I'm not so sure he's hurt as much as rusty. I think he is at the point he needs to get matches in, and he's still careful of the wrist. He's had a ton of time off, I think as long as he's ok to play, playing is what he needs.

He's bulked up like crazy, looking like the hulk. He's turning into a Karlovic where he can't actually move fast enough along the baseline to where he can actually use the power he possesses. When he actually gets into position to hit balls, he can crank them, though. Milos can't serve and volley very well, either; he needs to slim down for longevity. He's not going to win matches at 230 pounds from the baseline -- even with a wicked serve.

I'm sure he'll get back on track. He has a lot of discipline and confidence.

The Canadian baton has been passed to a new generation. Thank you Milos for your service but you were boring.

Please. Shap may(and I say may, he hasn't even gone through a full season on tour yet) be the better player, but Raonic still has enough in the tank.

Of course this being TTW, the goal posts move constantly so no more how good a guy is, he isn't good enough and should have/be better, and thus is really just a 4.0 taking a spot from a real player.
