Minor scoliosis. Will this affect my tennis?

While getting my last physical my dr said i had minor scoliosis. He gave me some stretches to do and said it was probably from playing tennis wheremy back muscles on the right side of my body had become stronger an pushed over slightly. I really havent been doing any sort of special stretches but after tennis my back does seem to hurt. Not excruciating pain but rather a minor annoyance. Is this nothing to worry about? I really dont want to get injured but i dont know how to prevent back injury.

Minor scoliosis itself should not impact your tennis play, but does increase the risk of developing other back problems from playing, such as herniated disk and spinal arthritis.

But wouldnt i still be hitting the serve with one hand?
Yeah, unfortunately, if the serve is the issue then nothing would help except learning to serve with either hand.

But if you don't have a big serve and if you use a one-handed backhand, the problem might be in your ground strokes, which tends to load your racket-side leg whether you're hitting forehands or one-handed backhands.
