In doing my research on monofilament strings, I don't think I will be able to find one that is soft and hold tension relatively long. I am using Lux ALU Fluoro 17 in a hybrid set with natural gut. The tension is going away too fast for my liking with the Lux and I don't see anything else out there (I had another thread looking for other monofilament strings and either the strings are too stiff which hurts my arm or the string is no improvement on what I am using now). I will probably go back to a full bed of natural gut.
But, I have a question. Are there any multifilament strings out there that can play similar to a monofilament string, especially a string like Lux ALU Fluoro?
