most flexible yonex?

does anyone have any spec info of the older yonex's cant find any rdc ra values on any of them any where.
what im most curious about is the Yonex R1, R2, as i understand it they were the "cheapies" lower end higher fiberglass mixes that yonex put out back in the day?
Love the feel of the older midsize head club and team pros, but cant handle the 13 OZ weight anymore. im hoping that the older lower numbered yonex fit the bill for lighter weight with same super flexible qualities.

Weren't the R1 and R2 aluminium or metal offerings from back in the early 80's? The R5 is the lowest numbered composite Yonex I can recall. Maybe posting this on the Classics board would get you some more information?

thanks guys!
yeah im looking at the 80's composite graphite offerings from yonex they are called the Yonex R1 rexking and theR2 rexking. does anybody have any spec info on either, im mostly interested in the rdc/flex rating and the weight and the balance. thank you all for responding;

teachingpro - are you sure you're not talking about the Rexplay series? I recall an R2 in that line - black silver and red cosmetic IIRC?

I'm pretty sure the R1,2 and 3 in the Rexking series were all metal frames.

RDX 500 MP. Love it. Not sure on the RDC rating, but I'd be shocked if it was anything higher than 62.

It is 62, the Mid -which I still use- is even softer, 60. I like the Yonex kind of flex: stiff hoop but flexible throat, the overall feel is flexy.

yeah im looking at a yonex R-2 rexplay graphite on eflayyyy. right now... its navy blue, red and silver.
wish i knew the specs. as it "looks " to be an interesting stick.. thin beam ..wondering if its flexy and lighter than the yonex -r 7of that same era.
which i like but would love it more if its lighter and even more flexible! if anyone knows any info on the NON METAL, R2 or R1 please chime in.

I believe that Yonex did produce SL frames - " super light ."
If so, then those will most likely be smaller grips...
