Most LETS in a row you've ever seen (new rule)

My friends and I have a little wager in that if any of us
hit 3 lets in a row, they win the point
4 lets in a row, win the game,
and if they happen to hit another let, 5 in a row
the match is theirs!

What's the most lets you've seen in a match, in person and television, is there
a record?

In person, 4. Followed by me double faulting going for a 5th.
In my opponent's, 3 several times.

Off topic, but have you ever seen someone get the ball lodged in the throat of their racket when attempting an overhead? I've seen that happen, I think 3 times. Each time though, everyone wonders, "Where's the ball?" until we discover it in the racket.

Lets are dumb and should be removed.

I cant tell you how many times people (I believe) wrongly called a let because of a leaf blowing around, or a sneaker noise.

All USTA doubles should be like WTT, haha. I've only got to play a let ball once in WTT while my partner was receiving. That was the tennis highlight of the year for me!

Won't be here over the summer unfortunately...let me know if some time opens up for you. Otherwise, maybe in the fall.
