MULTI strings Advice

Hi,
I need an advice about multifilament strings.
Till now I have played only with poly's (msv focus hex /co focus, pro's pro vendetta/warrior)
Now I would like to try multi strings, I have some strings in options:

MSV Soft control
Head rip control 16
Babolat addiction power
Babolat fiber tour

Strung tension for polys was main 24kg, cross 22kg, do I need to go as low with multi strings?
If you have any experience with this string it would be helpful to get any advice.
The racquet is Head radical youtek MP

Try 26/25 for start... I play with 25/24 in midsize 18x20 frame

So it would be best to go 1 kg up form poly.

And do you have advice about the strings I have posted?

Here's a link to Mikler's Multi's. Looks like the only one he's reviewed that you're interested in is Head Rip Control. Might be worth a look, however (the entire thread I mean), as you might see something that interest you.

Quite a few people ask questions that have been asked multiple times. Use the search when you can. Often time you won't have to wait on people to answer your questions. ;-)

Coming from a Poly, I'd try Babolat Addiction and see what you think. It's a very stiff Multi so it's going to be the smallest transition from a Poly. I've got a full review up on the first page of my recent Multi reviews thread.

Addiction just loses tension very fast. It felt amazing for about one day and then dropped dramatically.

Was wondering if 16 gauge was the same way.

I got about 6 hrs out of addiction, so 2-3 matches would be just fine for someone that likes to hit the crap out of the ball. A 90 min ground stroke session and a a 3 hour singles match before any change in playability. It didn't lose tension for me but last night I played with it for a third match and the elasticity was gone. I'll be downgrading my review for the long term play.

Have you considered Prince Synthetic Gut with Duraflex because to me this is by far one of the synthetic gut strings on the market along with Wilson NXT or Tecnifibre X-One Biphase. The Prince may not have quite the same feel as the X-One or NXT but it does last longer and to me grips the ball better. As for the strings you mentioned I would go with either of the Head strings because Babolat xcel is a crap attempt to duplicate Wilson Sensation. As for the Babolat Fibertour I have never heard of it so I cannot comment on it.

RipControl may be the closest of the bunch to give you the low-powered control that you had with the poly. It is quite different from all other multis.
In general, multis should be strung fairly high.
