LONDON (AP) - Wimbledon champion Andy Murray will have surgery on a long-standing back problem and miss the rest of the season.
``The aim is to be fully fit for the new season,'' said a statement released by Murray's management company on Thursday.

Cakewalk for Nadal/Nole next year. Murray was the only guy who had a decent chance to take some big titles away from them

It will take him quite a while recover from back injury (if he ever does) to get back to full form

Might be the beinning of the end.....most back surgeries are not definitive but rather kick the can down the road a bit.
