I can't be bothered right now man :D

If Murray is Becker/Edberg level talent he'll prove it and break through to win those extra slams. It's not like he's Hewitt who had his playing level ravaged by injuries at 25 ;). Murray is back to his best roughly IMO, if he can't win the titlse then I see no reason to elevate to the level of people who did.
Fair enough mate. And considering you don't even rate Andy above Hewitt yet, I think it's safe to say he definitely has some way to go before you'd put him in the same company as Boris and Stefan! ;)

Hewitt was #1 for a long time man. That's worth more to me than those extra masters (as many as there are!).

Plus I know you disagree with this but I don't think Murray's level of play is better than Hewitt's - certainly not to a significant degree. While I think Becker and the like were definitely better players.

The only way for Murray to improve is to hire Toni and have Nadal as his training partner. Both of them would improve. But it will never happen. Murray's current coach will get pregnant again :) Why? Well there is actually someone who wants to have babies with her so I guess she will go for it, now :)

Ohhh so now you can only have a fantastic year if you completely dominate the year. So players like Hewitt, Safin, Rafter never had fantastic years cause they never dominated the tour collecting most of the slams and other big titles?

It all depends on the player and his abilities. A slamless year for Andy Murray in his prime just isn't a fantastic year for me.

I'd be pretty happy if I was Murray with all those accomplishments. A win over the number 1

He beat Djokovic once the whole year and lost whatever other meetings they had in the year, 2 of them being in slams. For a guy who once had a relatively even head to head with Djokovic and has now become basically his pigeon, how happy do you really think he would be? He got outclassed by a 34 year old way past his prime at his own I definitely wouldn't be all that happy.

No no no. That's not what I said. You didn't answer my question. I'll say it again Do you think if Djokovic, Federer, Nadal and Stan all hired women along with Murray that NONE of them would win a slam? I don't care if they haven't considered it, answer the question

Prime Nadal, Djokovic and Federer could hire children as their coaches and still win slams. Doesn't mean it's the right decision. You said gender didn't matter and then you were unable to provide a single example of a woman coaching a man to a slam. Why do you think Djokovic, Nadal and most of the tour don't hire woman as coaches? It's not because they are closed minded or sexist. Most of it likely has to do with women not being equal to men in this case.

As a Murray fan, I can't help wishing it had been the other way round but I guess Andy knows best. Just hope he gets somebody good to replace Jonas as his assistant coach.
your thread's title sounds a bit like a soap opera...
