Nice Job Will!

The walk in and hop are killer!

I never moved my left leg behind my body when coming in for a short bh dtl, either.

I'm not sure the left leg step behind when moving to hit to the right works though. Doesn't seem to add any distance for me. This is all new to me really.

I'm 16:00 in right now. Video is a bit drawn out for my taste--- it took the guy 5 minutes to say that your footwork to the ball and your recovery footwork take time away from your opponent. He demonstrates this crossover step behind the right foot, but in the next demo of the pivot step, when the guy feeds him a wide ball he crosses over with the front foot, like I do.

Nice video, too bad no one seems to care about this stuff. If we were discussing ulnar deviation of the wrist in a straight arm forehand this thread would be 100 replies long by now.

i am into footwork recently and have seen this vid long time ago. but i find those two step, walking and hopping ,how do i put it, not to my liking. i just like what Tricky is talking about more, reset inside foot, real weight transfer, all these stuff.

and i really like the footwork from that extreme RHS post, nothing to do with hopping or walking, but just so nice.

Its like a video version of a Stephen King book...about 300 pages too long.

Come on its not that bad, especially if your are interested in fw.

I have watched it a few times already. And I just leave it on and have it in the background while I'm surfing tw. -).

Great stuff. Kids are so lucky today. Eveythting they need to learn anything is right at their finger tips.
