I like them, too. But, what's up with "a little glue here and there". "Custom" should not equate to home-made. So, Chinese final QC check is better than MiAdidas?

It's a little residue around the edges of the black stripes, and a little around the edge where the sewn on parts are. It's nothing much, and I guess I can kinda understand that it's not so percise when custom-made, but I guess it's kinda dissapointing from a "major brand." Hold on lemme see if I can take a pic or two.

I can really only judge from wearing around house so far, but they seem more comfy and padded, while lighter. Fitwise, definately on the snug side. Not so much where it is unwearable, but If you are inbetween sizes, with this shoe, get the larger size.
I'll let you know how they play soon.

The insole was the comfort, and it looks more padded than the regular one in the Vs, there is a oval bump in the heel part right in the middle. Feels comfy.

I like the way they turned out except for the Cincinnati Bearcats logo is a lot smaller than represented when building the shoe on miadidas and looks pretty cheesy. They fit great; I recommend getting the "comfort package"-extra heel and collar padding, feels good!

I can definitely afford to buy those clown shoes.Money has nothing to do with it, i go through 4 pairs of barricade 5's a year.
