Nadal has evolved into an all court phenom.

If the courts today are so similar, how is it that Nadal of all people is the one winning multiple slams on all surfaces but no one else can't?

Precisely because when conditions are homogenous, the best at that unique thing will win almost all the events.

If conditions were polarized and there were totally different playing styles each adapted to a different condition, you would see more different players winning big tournaments at the same time.

It is as obvious as the following:

Ussain Bolt will probably win 9 or 10 out of ten 100 meters races, whereas in a decathlon competition (that has 10 different events) you will never see one person winning 9 or 10 (nor even 5 ) events out of the 10 events, because they are so different. It is impossible for one person to win more than 3 or at most 4 out of the 10 different events.

If we "create" a "homogenous decathlon" consisting in repeating the 100 meters race ten times, then Ussain Bolt will win the ten races.
