Seriously, Rafa will be fine and be more than ready once the clayseason comes around. Do you guys reckon he'll win the three masters and Roland Garros just like last year? Or will someone beat him down the road?

Can a revitalized Ferrer take it to him on clay perhaps?

Rafa retired in last year's AO...
after that he won everything there was to win (except WTF)

so this loss doesn't mean much imo

I wasn't talkin about today's match. Because I agree it doesnt mean much. So you think he'll win it all?

Absolutely, just like last year, unless he has to deal with Soderling or some other hot player on his quarters at RG again. Once the clay court season begins, he will be there to defend what is rightfully his.

The claysweep is tough to pull off, because it's very close to each other. A guy like Djokovic or Federer could beat him, especially in Madrid (altitude).I doubt it will happen though

Before the talk of Rafa slam occured I said that I wanted him to equal Borg on RG's more than anything else and I will be very disappointed if he doesn't. He's the best CC'er I've ever seen.

Ferrer is damn good on clay but watch his matches from 2010 with Rafa to see how he does. His consistency is like no other but there is no getting past a healthy Rafa on clay. He played very solid in MC and he was still made to look like a noob at times. He played again a good match in Rome and he still lost in straights.

Well, he also has a lot of points to defend there, much more than any season he previously had. That could give him an extra motivation to pull if off. Knowing that he has done it before in the past also should help.
