Is Nadal ready for hybrid with gut?

Nadal's average shots have a lot of spin and the ball is obviously heavy however recently they seem to lack enough power.

The last few matches I noticed his opponents have far less trouble with his shots. Sure there are moments of brilliance where he scores a winner but on average his shots are not giving his opponents enough trouble.

What can be done?

Is there a change of racket in the works, different strings or tension? Or perhaps a hybrid with gut will help him?

Nope, the problem is from a different reason . He's been playing the same specs for 10 years.

Nadal's FH was on fire in the match but he's goin on mental walkabouts perhaps due to age. Lost some of his mental clutchness.

In the third set when he broke back Nole to equalise at 3-3 with some serious momentum on his side, he got broken right back. You just don't see that happen with Nadal in deciding sets esp on clay, he'll ride the momentum all the way across the finish line. Not today and maybe a sign of things to come.

i've often wondered how Nadal would play with his previous strings before RPM blast.

i've never liked those strings, but Nadal has done very well with them.
