Need a bigger butt.....cap

Hi all, I love hitting with my Fischer Pro Extreme FT's, but am not a big fan of the Fischer butt caps/handles. I figure I could either switch out the butt cap for a Volkl or Head cap, since they both have rectangular grips. The standard Fischer butt cap doesn't have enough "flare" for me, could anyone verify if switching to a head or Volkl cap would make a difference for a bulkier butt cap? I've improvised by wrapping some electrical tape around the cap to bulk it up a little, but I'd like a better solution.

I had the exact same problem when I used those frames. I put an Alpha butt cap on and it felt 100% better. In fact, I think robkat is selling that same frame on the classifieds right now. Anyway, you can use any replacement and it will work fine.

You can also build up the butt cap with grip finishing tape or athletic tape.

Wouldn't that affect the balance and weight Gaines?

Thanks Gaines, I have built it up with electrical tape, but I was looking for something a little more even and more easily duplicated. Thanks for the tip though.

wrap an old overgrip around the buttcap however many times you need to build up to the sized you want. Then put an new overgrip on as usual.

It's cheap, easy and can be adjusted at will.
