Need USTA Rules Aficionados

I legitimately hope you're right. But I have doubts about our state league coordinator. Thinking sectionals would have to get involved.

Oh I would certainly expect so. Local coordinators, often being players in the local leagues themselves, are often rife with conflicts of interest and rarely recuse themselves. I rarely get the feeling that they look the rule up before ruling.

This came from the state league coordinator.

I can't imagine that there are folks being completely fine with a team/club not allowing some opponent to play at those courts due to some non-USTA rule violation.
It matters not who started the fight, or who was at fault. If you allow a club that is hosting a USTA match to ban players due to some rule violation - then where does it stop?
What would prevent a captain/club from requiring that all opposing players must play with Head equipment (because, you know, the club has exclusive sponsorship rights with Head). Or ban a player because last time he visited he used too many towels after showering? Or because you can only park electric vehicles on the parking lot? Possibilities are endless.

Lol,
For what it's worth, I often agree with the spirit of your arguments, but just find that they are sometimes too dogmatic at times when pragmatism is called for. Also, you often assume the worst whereas I am a great believer in Hanlon's Razor.
Naturally, I expect you to disagree with all the above :)

Dogmatic? @Startzel ? Nah! ;)

Never heard of "Hanlon's Razor": I thought it was Occam's younger brother who kept stealing razors from his older brother.
